Key accounts: the importer’s view

Fleet and business customers are a segment of their own: they carry sales volumes today and bring the recurring after-sales revenue of tomorrow.

Yet from the importer’s seat they are often invisible as a whole — their purchases, test drives and service visits are scattered across the dealers of the network.

The new Key Accounts module in GAIA gives the importer that missing view — and a way to work the segment systematically.

One picture across the whole network

The key-account list is built on tax numbers and aggregated activity across all GAIA instances in the network — dealers and service partners alike. For each account the importer sees new-vehicle sales by channel, after-sales activity, the active vehicle fleet, test drives, offers and issued contracts — the first complete picture of a business customer across the entire network.

From potential to key account

In parallel, the importer curates a list of potential key accounts: added by tax number, they are only monitored at first — the system quietly aggregates their activity in the network. When a potential matures, the importer moves it to the active list and starts working it.

Every key account carries its classifications, and the importer records activities directly on the account: meeting summaries, planned next meetings — each contact optionally linked to a specific contact person at the customer. The relationship gets a memory that survives personnel changes on both sides.

Less typing, more data

The same foundation speeds up daily work: a legal-entity lead can now be created from a tax number alone — GAIA fills in the known public data about the company, and the importer hands the lead to the network. The account card brings together the sales summary, public financial data, the contact log, offers and contracts, and the active fleet — the preparation for every meeting in one place.

A key account is a relationship, not a transaction — and a relationship deserves a record.

A closing thought

Volume lives in fleets, and tomorrow’s service revenue lives in the vehicles sold today.

An importer who sees the whole customer across the network can plan both.

One tax number, one picture, one governed relationship — across the entire network.
